Chad thinks that Labor Day will be THE day. LOL.. it sure would be fittin’! Of course, I am ready to make ANY day "labor day" (lol).
No baby yet, but keep on praying. On the plus side, I am FINALLY getting my house clean!!!! After 2 months on bedrest, things can really pile up, and I am literally talking a pile here and a pile there!
This week (well, since Thursday), I have tackled: the pile of things that I need to list on ebay (no, not listed yet but it has a home now), the pile of kids books/crafts in the upstairs hallway (it is a kids area, but it is the first thing you see when you reach the top of the stairs), the pile of JUNK on my desk, the pile of misc. stuff on the changing table… you get the idea. Today, I am working on the last pile and it really isn’t a pile b/c I have it pretty much under control… my pile of laundry. Maybe it is a bit of OCD, but I don’t want ANY dirty laundry in the house when I head for the hospital.
Monday, I will start on the scrubbing… so maybe that will send me into labor. If not, maybe I can cut some grass for Chad (in our bumpy field) or ride Chloe’s horse… um, NO… I don’t think I could swing this ripe and pregnant body up onto the saddle (LOL – but it would be QUITE a sight for everyone else to see!!).
Oh well, in the meantime, I guess I will just keep myself busy with housework and caring for my Si-guy (he fractured his leg on Tuesday and is in a full leg cast – poor thing… but he is quite a trooper). Oh, and I am FINALLY reading The Excellent Wife by Martha Peace (I just read the first chapter today – YEAH), but I don’t want to SIT too much since movement can encourage labor. Well, better get MOVING :0)
Have a blessed day,
